TIM GAISSER

Tim Gaisser has built a career of being a go to musician that “fits the bill.”  As a percussionist awarded for his musicality, he began building a reputation for professionalism and speedy preparation performing with professional philharmonics, chamber ensembles, and musical theatre acts in the midwest, as well as big bands and a professional jazz orchestra.  He continued work in musical theatre in Los Angeles which included working as a sub for his mentor and fellow Percussionist Tim Curle (Josh Groban, Herbie Hancock, Elton John) at A Noise Within. 

Behind the kit, Tim has studied and worked hands on with many of the top players of his field including recording legends Ralph Humphrey (Don Ellis, Frank Zappa), Joe Porcaro (Frank Sinatra, Toto), Dave Beyer (Loggins & Messina, Christopher Cross, Michale McDonald) and Russ Miller (Ray Charles, Steve Perry, Tina Turner).  While simultaneously immersing himself in top tier training, Tim has been working steadily as a house drummer and assistant engineer at Hear No Evil Studios in the city of Orange. He has recorded with Bjorn Thorsrud (The Smashing Pumpkins), as well a number of EPs at The Hobby Shop under Andrew Murdock (Avenged Sevenfold, Godsmack).  Live work has taken Tim across the States, to South America, and Asia performing various genres.  He also has had experience in Music Directing as Co-MD to Lisa Harriton (The Smashing Pumpkins, Adam Lambert, Ke$ha) while also performing with the first Comic-Con Palms Springs Film and Video Game Orchestra.  Tim continues to perform live and in the studio with a wide variety of artists and acts wherever there is a need for the percussive arts.
